ACG GORGE WATERFALL RUN
The Columbia River Gorge became the backdrop for a study in endurance, grit, and community as runners took on the legendary ACG Waterfalls Run. Winding through lush Pacific Northwest forest, the course threaded past seven iconic waterfalls, each offering a dramatic reminder of the raw beauty that defines the Gorge.
Among the field were elite ultra runners and official athletes outfitted in Nike ACG’s signature Radical Airflow running system, designed to move with the body through changing terrain and conditions. As miles accumulated and elevation gained its toll, the day revealed more than performance apparel. It revealed the athletes themselves.
Bruised legs, weathered faces, and exhausted smiles crossed the finish line as runners returned to home base after hours on the trail. The recovery scene felt equal parts aid station and celebration. Pickles disappeared by the handful. Quesadillas, protein-rich snacks, and high-calorie comfort foods fueled bodies rebuilding after spending thousands of calories deep in the wilderness.
The ACG Waterfalls Run wasn’t simply a race. It was a gathering of athletes, adventurers, and storytellers connected by a shared pursuit of movement. Against the backdrop of cascading waterfalls and moss-covered cliffs, the event captured the spirit of ACG: designed for those willing to go further, push harder, and find beauty in the journey.
